ABOUT YELLOW LID SWIM
Yellow Lid Swim started with something very simple — a swim set written on an old yellow Tupperware-style lid and taken to the end of the pool.
No trying to remember the session. No checking a phone with wet hands. Just put the lid down and swim.
I’m an ex-competitive swimmer who now does triathlon, and I genuinely love writing swim sets. I’m also the coach behind 10138 Endurance Coaching — where I coach athletes with a person-first approach to endurance sport. Yellow Lid brings together my swimming background, my experience as a triathlete and coach, and what I’ve learned through the British Triathlon coaching pathway.
The idea is simple: purposeful swim sessions that are easy to understand and easy to take to the pool.
You’ll find sets for pacing, endurance, threshold, speed, technique and swimmers who are just getting started. Use one when you need a session, work through a series, swim it on your own or take it along to swim with friends.
You don’t need to be the fastest swimmer in the lane. You don’t need to belong to a club. And you definitely don’t need to memorise a complicated session before you get in.
Pick a set. Take it poolside. Swim.
Simple sets. Purposeful swimming. Triathlon ready. 💛💙
